Angkor, near the town of Siem Reap, is one of the wonders of the world, overwhelming in its grandeur. The main temple Angkor Wat is just one of the many sites. We spent 5 days which was not quite enough to see the most important sights. Both the architecture and the famous bas relieves (of which there are about one and a half miles length on Angor Wat and the Bayon temples alone) are extraordinary. The smaller temple complex of Banteay Srei is surely one of the finest works of art ever made by man. And there are many more.
